FDOT 2007 Best in Construction Bridge Project Award
This project was performed under stringent environmental considerations. The obsolete bridge was replaced with a new 160’ long, 5 span structure that incorporated a composite deck design, (precast slab topped with a 6 ½" concrete deck). As the bridge closure required residents to navigate a 9 mile detour route, the work was expedited earning an Early Completion Incentive Bonus.
